Your pathway to gain internship experience

Your online placement will be available in the semester or the summer, with each week involving time spent working synchronously with the “home office” and time completing self-directed project work independently. We have two different ways for you to engage with your placement so that your internship meets your personal, academic, and career goal needs. 

• As part of your placement, you will be enrolled in an GTV男同基地 internship course (see below). This will provide context for your international work experience and help you process what you learn professionally and personally through your placement.
  • The course will meet on Wednesday at 1PM EST - another section may be added based on enrollments.
• You can choose one of these options for your virtual internship placement duration:
  • Semester: 12 weeks, ~20 hours per week (10 synchronous, 10 independent) 
  • Summer: 6 week session, 3 days per week

• Placements are offered first come, first served, therefore we may fill all available placements prior to the final deadline, so submit your application and confirm your participation early.
• You may be placed with an organization in a country outside of your current study location. Options are available in Dublin, Edinburgh, London, and Rome. More information is available in the Internship Placement Guide.
